With over 40 years of combined quilting experience and over 17 years of combined quilt pattern writing experience, Cheryl and Yvonne are merging their quilting and engineering backgrounds in the Curated Pattern Bundles collaboration. Our goal is to curate and offer high value, highly curated quilt pattern bundles around a central theme. Leveraging our organizational and project management skills, we look forward to offering bundles 2-3 times a year.
Yvonne (Quilting Jetgirl) worked for 15 years as an aerospace engineer for NASA and Scaled Composites. The highlight of her aerospace career was being the structural analyst for the small team that designed, built, and flight tested the SpaceShipTwo prototype. After leaving the stressful prototype aircraft/spacecraft industry, Yvonne has blended her technical background with her love for quilting and works as a freelance technical editor for the quilting industry while also creating her own branded line of modern quilt patterns.
Cheryl (Meadow Mist Designs) is a chemical engineer specializing in intellectual property for technical textiles. She combines her technical background and love of quilting to create quilt patterns with clear instructions and strong geometric designs for her quilt pattern design company, Meadow Mist Designs. Cheryl is the author of three quilting books: Just Two Charm Pack Quilts (2023), Just One Charm Pack Quilts (2021), and Modern Plus Sign Quilts (2018), all published by Stash / C&T Publications.
